Task Cards for 5th through 9th Graders - Priced and Free

The Benefits of Task Cards

Task cards are quick and easy way for students to learn standards or reinforce skills. They are a great alternative to worksheets or boring reviews, and are extremely versatile! Task cards allow for student centered-learning, which gives teachers much needed time to work with strugglers or small groups.

Task cards work great for students who feel overwhelmed by busy, multi-question worksheets and are ideal for differentiation and students who need modifications.

Great for groups, partners, individuals, centers, take home, bell ringers, early finishers, literacy stations, - anytime.

Task cards make for great games: Set up competition between rows, front vs. back (any class division you like) - play quiz bowl like. Put up a question. Groups may buzz in or the game may be played like a spelling bee. The whole group must agree to an answer - only one group answers a question at a time. All of the Task Cards Below Have Projectable Versions. Or play academic decathlon style - panel of students who represent their group.

Check out these task cards for your students.
